Shiji and Origon Interfactura partner to simplify fiscal compliance in Mexico’s hospitality industry
The technological integration responds to increasing regulatory complexity and advances toward more automated, frictionless invoicing for the guest
Mexico City, Mexico, 4月 16, 2026 – Shiji, the global leader in hospitality technology, and Origon Interfactura, a specialist in digital fiscal compliance in Mexico and Latin America, announced today a strategic partnership to integrate fiscal capabilities directly into Shiji’s デイライトPMS and インフラシスPOS hotel operational systems. This collaboration aims to address one of the sector’s main challenges in the country: the complexity of fiscal compliance in an environment of increasing digitalization and real-time regulation.
The hospitality sector in Mexico faces ongoing challenges driven by the evolution of electronic invoicing, including requirements such as CFDI stamping, fiscal validations, document retention (NOM-151), and the need to rapidly adapt to regulatory changes. In this context, many companies operate with fragmented integrations that increase operational burden and the risk of errors.
The partnership between Shiji and Origon Interfactura addresses this issue through a native integration that enables fiscal compliance to be automated directly within the systems used by hotels and restaurants, eliminating manual processes and reducing reliance on external solutions.
“This collaboration addresses a critical need in the Mexican market, where fiscal compliance cannot be a process separate from daily operations,” said Alejandra Pueblita, Country Manager at Shiji Mexico. “By integrating these capabilities within the hospitality technology ecosystem, we help our clients operate more efficiently and deliver a smoother experience to their guests.”
Origon Interfactura brings to the partnership its expertise as an Authorized Certification Provider (PAC), as well as deep knowledge of the local regulatory framework. This enables functionalities such as real-time electronic invoicing, automated validations, and full traceability of fiscal and operational information.
“In Mexico, fiscal compliance has evolved toward an increasingly automated and real-time audited model, which requires companies to integrate these capabilities into their operations,” said Jorge Adalberto Lopez Chapa, CEO of Origon Interfactura. “With Shiji, we are taking an important step toward a more efficient integration that reduces operational friction and improves the experience for both businesses and end users.”
From the end-customer perspective, this integration also has a direct impact on the guest experience. Processes such as invoicing, traditionally complex and prone to errors, become faster, more accurate, and more transparent, even enabling progress toward instant invoicing models without additional steps.
In addition to improving operational efficiency, the partnership positions both companies in line with market evolution, where digitalization, automation, and intelligent compliance are becoming key pillars of competitiveness in the hospitality industry.
In the short term, both companies will focus on implementing integrations with existing clients. In the medium term, the objective is to establish this solution as a standard in the hospitality sector in Mexico and expand its capabilities to other Latin American markets, incorporating functionalities such as advanced validations, compliance automation, and fiscal analytics.
